Gidem Terms of Service

This is an English translation of the Korean Terms of Service. If the two versions differ, the Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using "Gidem" (the "Service"), a voice messaging app for couples provided by Daisuyou (the "Company"), and the rights and obligations of the Company and users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

Article 3 (Effect and changes of these Terms)

The Company may change these Terms and will announce changes in the app at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to users). If you do not agree to the changed Terms, you may stop using the Service and delete your account.

Article 9 (Ads)

Free users see ads on some screens in the app (settings, anniversaries, etc.). Ads are never shown while recording or on a walkie call.

Article 9-2 (Notifications)

The Company may send service notices such as new voice messages, walkie calls, anniversary and trip reminders, and the once-a-day message reminder. You can turn them off in the app's settings. Promotional notifications are sent only with your separate consent.

Article 10 (User obligations)

You must not use someone else's account, share recordings or photos outside the Service without the other person's consent, or interfere with the Service.

Article 10-2 (Company obligations)

Article 10-3 (Notices)

The Company notifies you through in-app notices or notifications, or by email to your account. Notices for all users are posted in the app for at least 7 days.

Article 11 (Service interruption)

Article 12 (Limitation of liability)

The Company is not liable for damage caused by events it cannot prevent, such as natural disasters. However, the Company is liable under applicable law for damage caused by its intent or negligence.

Article 13 (Disputes)

Disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the competent court is determined under the Civil Procedure Act.
